Worden's Market has been on Higgins since 1883, which is a long time to stay a grocery. Montana was not a state yet. The railroad was still an argument. The sandwich you can claim on the map today is made in a deli that has outlasted every fashion downtown has tried on since then.

The walk-in window is lunch. Weekdays, eleven to two, the line is people who work nearby and people who walked because the drop said sandwich, and they overlap more than you'd think. You claim it at the counter. Nobody scans a QR code. You are standing there, and then you have a sandwich, and more often than not you buy chips or a bottle of something because you are already in the store.

I keep coming back to that because it is the whole point in miniature. A business this old does not need a treasure hunt to survive. They put a reward on the map anyway, which tells you something about what they think a walk downtown is worth. If you have never been inside, go at lunch. The deli is the front. The rest of the store is still a grocery.
